  • How long are the sessions?
Our sessions usually last around 20-30 minutes, which is just the right amount of time for your dog's mental and physical well-being. We want to make sure your furry friend gets enough exercise without pushing them too hard and risking injury from exhaustion. However, if your dog is not yet used to a full session or has any medical conditions, we may need to make the sessions shorter to accommodate their needs.
  • How often do you recommend I schedule my dog?
We have flexible scheduling options to meet your dog’s needs! You can choose from weekly, bi-weekly, or on-demand scheduling. Many of our clients schedule once a week and see amazing mental and physical benefits. We can even set a regular day and time that works best for you and your furry friend. As the weather heats up and outdoor activities become limited, some clients like to increase to twice a week to keep their pups active and entertained. But don't worry, we're here to help you figure out what works best for your dog's unique needs. So let's chat about your options and get your pup on the path to success!
  • Can you work with multiple dogs together?
I can exercise 2 dogs within one booking, but only upon request. Each treadmill is set up for a 1:1 experience to make sure your pup gets the attention and exercise they need.
  • What can I expect BEFORE my session?
Ask your vet if it's okay for your dog to run Don't feed 1 hour before Take your dog for a potty break Have your dog ready to go and in their harness Up to date on vaccinations
  • What can I expect DURING my session?
At the mobile gym, safety and positivity are the top priorities! My mission is to provide a customized workout that meets your dog's specific needs. I supervise their every move and encourage them to "work" at their own pace, whether that means walking, trotting, or running. We take breaks and provide water as needed to make sure your furry friend stays comfortable throughout the session. The equipment is all puppy-powered, meaning NO-MOTOR! Your dog does all the work without any force or coercion. I'm all about creating a fun and safe environment, and I do that by showering your pup with positive reinforcement. I generally avoid using treats since many pups are here for weight loss or have special dietary needs.
  • What can I expect AFTER my session?
After their workout, your dog may be panting and sprawled out on the cool floor, which is normal. Wait until their heart rate slows before feeding them. Some dogs may experience a burst of energy after the session, which is also normal, and will burn off once their heart rate slows down. For unconditioned or older dogs, it's recommended to give their hind legs a massage to release lactic acid and prevent soreness. Next sessions can be scheduled through phone, text, or online booking.
  • How long does it take to learn how to move on your treadmills?
The dogs generally take about 5 minutes to learn how to balance and propel themselves on our equipment. With increased confidence in themselves and the equipment, their skills improve over time. All sessions are supervised to ensure safety. Since there are no motors, the dogs can move at their own pace, which the equipment follows. I closely monitor their movements to ensure a positive experience. To customize the training to your dog's specific needs, please let me know about any quirks or special requirements.
  • When will my dog run full speed?
Each dog moves and learns at their own pace, and confidence takes a little time. What is great about the treadmills is that dogs do not need to run at an all-out pace to get a good workout. Even at a slow pace, they engage their mind, core, stability, and leg muscles. The priority is to let the dog be in control, and their pace is always respected.
  • Do I need to be home for the sessions?
I recommend that you attend the first session so that your dog is comfortable. After that, you can hand off their dog at the door or van.
  • How is payment handled?
I accept payment through the website, Apple Pay, Venmo and PayPal.
  • What are your requirements to work with my dog?
Always clear any physical activity with your veterinarian first. All dogs must be at least 4 months old and be up to date on all vaccinations. We can accommodate anywhere from 20 lbs – 100 lbs and a variety of shapes and personalities; from scared, anxious, stubborn and reactive; to overweight, pre/post-surgery, or otherwise limited in one way or another. Please let us know your dog’s needs and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations less than 24 hours before your session will result in a $25 charge. No shows will result in a full charge.
  • Are you hiring? Do you franchise?
